May Enthronement the Sacred Heart bring hope, blessings, healing, and protection for all!
Enthronement to the Sacred Heart, What does that mean?
Enthronement to the Sacred Heart is a powerful devotion that Catholic families and schools are choosing as a way to welcome the reign of Love into their lives. Christians we know that when we give Jesus all authority, He will help us and strengthen us.
Enthronement can be defined as the “official and social recognition of the sovereignty of the Sacred Heart of Jesus over the Christian family. A recognition affirmed, outwardly expressed and made permanent by the solemn installation of the image of the divine Heart by the act of Consecration” (Father Mateo Crawley-Boevey, the founder of enthronements). In other words, it means, to make Christ known by giving Him authority over our family and, school. It is easy to Welcome His Heart into your life, and you shall be blessed!
Fr. Stash Dailey, the spiritual director of the Sacred Heart Enthronement Network and Sacred Heart Columbus, believes this is an important part of reclaiming your school for Christ. He said, “the Lord in His mercy and love, seeks to liberate each one us from the chains that bind us in our day-to-day lives.” This devotion is a powerful way to help staff and students know that they are loved by God and set free from the weight of this world, so to be freed to truly love Christ. The Sacred Heart devotion is a wonderful way to reinforce Church teaching and give a visual reminder to all who enter the school, that Christ loves us and with this love we love others.

Testimonies from School Enthronements:
“ Having the Sacred Heart enthroned in our school since 2016 has been a very powerful reminder of Jesus’ forever presence throughout our campus. The Sacred Heart pictures, images, and statues throughout our building – in all classrooms, offices, locker rooms and even in our elevators – continues to remind all who enter our school about the greatest gift of Christ’s very body, blood, soul, and divinity present in our Chapel where we have daily access to adore, pray and honor. The Sacred Heart enthronement has made a tremendous difference in all we do to enhance the Catholic Church’s educational mission and apostolate. We know that Christ, as He promised, is always with us until the end of time” –
Deacon Frank Iannarino Director, Office of the Diaconate and Chaplain of Bishop Watterson, Columbus, OH
“The Enthronement is a visual reminder of our faith and devotion to Jesus. We were honored to participate,”
