I am amazed at the many wonderful things that Catholic parents do for their children, but I can’t think of anything greater than intentionally welcoming Jesus as King of their home through the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus!
Fr. Wilson, Pastor of St. Paul Parish
Have you considered “re-enthroning to the Sacred Heart of Jesus? Consider making this a family tradition where you renew your love for the Sacred Heart. We are called to invite the love of Jesus into our lives, to return that love to Jesus, our Savior, and share that love with others.
When should you re-enthrone? Consider making this an annual tradition for the Feast of the Sacred Heart and or special dates like your wedding anniversary or Christmas. In my family, we pray the Daily Covenant prayer whenever we have a special family gathering.
Many families re-enthrone when they move to a new home, experience a difficult time in life such as marriage issues, financial issues, unemployment, or when a loved one is struggling with an addiction. The Enthronement is a powerful way to seek out new graces in your life. In addition to the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart, pray the prayer of Consecration to the Sacred Heart below.
The Daily Covenant Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
‘“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, [then] I will enter his house and dine with him, and he with me. Rev. 3: 20
Most sweet Jesus, humbly kneeling at Your feet, we renew the consecration of our family to Your Divine Heart. Be Thou our King forever. In You we have full and entire confidence. May Your Spirit penetrate our thoughts, our desires, our words and our works. Bless our undertakings, share in our joys, in our trials and in our labors. Grant us to know You more, and to serve You without faltering.
By the Immaculate Heart of Mary Queen of Peace, set up Your kingdom in our country. Enter closely into the midst of our families and make them Your own through the solemn enthronement of Your Sacred Heart; so that one cry may resound from home to home: May the triumphant Heart of Jesus be everywhere loved, blessed, and glorified forever! Honor and glory to the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary!
Sacred Heart of Jesus, please protect our families. Amen.
Consecration Prayer of St. Margaret Mary:
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, to Thee I consecrate and offer up my person and my life, my actions, trials, and sufferings, that my entire being may henceforth only be employed in loving, honoring and glorifying Thee. This is my irrevocable will, to belong entirely to Thee, and to do all for Thy love, renouncing with my whole heart all that can displease Thee.
I take Thee, O Sacred Heart, for the sole object of my love, the protection of my life, the pledge of my salvation, the remedy of my frailty and inconstancy, the reparation for all the defects of my life, and my secure refuge at the hour of my death. Be Thou, O Most Merciful Heart, my justification before God Thy Father, and screen me from His anger which I have so justly merited. I fear all from my own weakness and malice, but placing my entire confidence in Thee, O Heart of Love, I hope all from Thine infinite Goodness. Annihilate in me all that can displease or resist Thee. Imprint Thy pure love so deeply in my heart that I may never forget Thee or be separated from Thee.
I beseech Thee, through Thine infinite Goodness, grant that my name be engraved upon Thy Heart, for in this I place all my happiness and all my glory, to live and to die as one of Thy devoted servants.
Amen.

I’m so glad I have the opportunity of being a Catholic and a member of the Sacred heart of Jesus and Immaculate heart of Mary society.
It is really difficult explaining this whole thing about devotion to the Sacred heart or blessed sacrament to a non catholic.
And his heart is such a beautiful garden of love filled with eternal promises for everyone.
But so limited to a few adorer.
May he reign forever as king of our hearts and family. Amen.
