“During May, we turn to Our Lady and renew our love for her as Mother while acknowledging her as Queen.
‘She is more Mother than Queen.”
These words from St. Therese remind us that the maternity of Our Lady is the foundation for her power and authority. It is a powerful awakening to realize that we call Mary our Mother because Jesus has called us to be His brothers and sisters. From the Cross, Jesus directs His Mother to behold her son, namely John, but through implication to all of His disciples.
Our Heavenly Mother directs our attention from things that change back to the source of our stability and tranquility, the Heart of Her Son, Jesus.”

Three Ways to Honor The Blessed Mother During May
- Consecrate to Her Immaculate Heart: We invite you this May to consecrate your heart and home to the Immaculate Heart of Mary with our special consecration booklet. This booklet includes everything you need to “Welcome Mary” into your life in a new way! The Blessed Mother leads us to Jesus, and Jesus desires for us to come to know, love, and honor His Mother.
2. Pray the Rosary during May! Now is the perfect time to pray a Rosary each day for peace in the world and in our own hearts and homes. Mary always desires to lead us closer to Jesus. We have a live Rosary on Zoom on the Fourth Sunday of the Month, where you are welcome to join us.
3. Honor The Blessed Mother with a special statue of Our Lady of Fatima
Below is a link to a traveling statue of Fatima that has been used as a way to foster greater devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. We recommend honoring Mary this month with flowers, special prayers, and even placing her in a place of honor so that you can easily pray to her. In Columbus, OH, we have used this statue as a way to help prepare homes for the Enthronement through, “home visits.” This might be a great way to help others encounter the hearts of Jesus and Mary!
“Jesus wishes to establish devotion to my Immaculate Heart in the world. I promise salvation to those who embrace it; and these souls will be beloved of God like flowers arranged by me to adorn His throne.”
– Our Lady of Fatima
