Sacred Heart Congress Details

Join us either in-person or via live-stream for the Sacred Heart Congress. This year we will be celebrating our tenth annual Sacred Heart Congress and hope that you can attend this Christ-centered event. Each year we gather in unity and prayer to grow closer to the loving and perfect heart of Jesus.

The Congress will be held on November 6, 2021, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Westerville, OH, from 9:30 am – 12:00 pm. This mini-retreat will be full of prayer and include Mass, Confession, Benediction, and formation on how we can better abide in the heart of Jesus and spread this devotion to others.

Bishop Robert Brennan: of Columbus, OH, principal celebrant of the Holy Mass. He is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church who serves as the 12th Bishop of Columbus, Oh, and the former bishop of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, New York. Bill Messerly: Emcee of the event- executive director, of St. Gabriel Radio, Columbus. Fr. Joseph Laramie SJ: is a Catholic, Jesuit priest. He was ordained in 2011. He is the author of Abide in the Heart of Christ: a 10-Day Personal Retreat with St Ignatius Loyola, based on the Spiritual Exercises. . He is the new national director of the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network [Apostleship of Prayer]. This 175-year-old Jesuit ministry promotes devotion to the Sacred Heart, Ignatian spirituality, and the monthly prayer intentions of the pope. He has been a guest on many podcasts, on radio and TV including EWTN Live, the Hallow app, Busted Halo, Jesuitical podcast, has written for America Magazine. Fr. Peter John Camron, OP: was ordained a Dominican priest in 1986. Since 1994, he has taught homiletics at various seminaries and is currently teaching at the Josephinum. He is the founder and artistic director of Blackfriars Repertory Theatre in New York City. Fr. Cameron is the author of ten books, including The Classics of Catholic SpiritualityBlessing PrayersMysteries of the Virgin MaryMade for Love—Loved by GodNovenas for the Church Year, Jesus Present Before Me, and Why Preach: Encountering Christ in God’s Word. He served two terms as the director of preaching for his Dominican province. Fr. Cameron is the founding editor-in-chief of Magnificat, where he worked from 1998-2018. Fr. Cameron is the prior of St. Patrick Priory in Columbus, Ohio. Emily Jaminet: Executive director of the Sacred Heart Enthronement Network, Author of Secrets of the Sacred Heart: 12 Ways to Claim Jesus’ Promises in Your Life, co-author of Divine Mercy for Moms, The Friendship Project, Pray Fully, Our Friend Faustina, and contributed to the Sacred Heart Prayer Journal. She is the co-founder of www.inspirethefaith.com, and co-host of the Inspired By Faith podcast. She lives in Columbus, OH with her family. She has been a welcomed guest on Catholic TV programs, podcasts, and radio programs.
