My dear brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus,
We must be more focused on God’s yearning for us than our yearning for Him.
We must allow ourselves to be found! We must allow the Lord to find us and claim us in that place that is uniquely our own, pointedly speaking, in our very own home.
Every time we behold the face and the heart of Jesus we are presented with a moment where we can be found, a moment wherein we can be claimed by Him. Where else do we see His face and His Sacred Heart than in the image of the Sacred Heart in our homes.
We must not allow ourselves to be a people who are lost or cut off but rather a people who have been found and claimed by the living God. The God who suffers with us will not suffer in solidarity from a sidewalk outside our home, He will not suffer in union with us from the front lawn or from even six feet away.
There is no social distancing in the intimacy of solidarity between The God-Man Jesus and the soul of the one He created and sustains. While we may be at a distance from those around us, there is no distance between ourselves and the One who wants to dwell within us.
Place a light in your front window at night time. The world needs to see that light a glow in your window for we live by Faith and possess Hope.
Our focus must not be on our weakness and our frailty, but rather on His strength and His desire to find us
The light in our lives, the light in the windows of our homes, must shine as not only a beacon of the Life we possess but also as a draw for the One who wants us, He who LIVES!
Jesus Lives! Jesus Reigns! Jesus Is Victorious! If you have not already- Enthrone the Sacred Heart of Jesus on Easter.
In His Most Sacred Heart,
Fr Stash Dailey
Let us pray this prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus for protection against the COVID-19
Oh Good Jesus, you are the Most High God, everlasting and always loving you have shown us the way to the Father and sent the Holy Spirit to guide us.
We implore thy Most Sacred Heart to have mercy on us in this time of need. Bless and protect the vulnerable, give hope to all and fill our hearts with confidence in your Divine Mercy. Be our joy in the midst of suffering and our stability in the midst of uncertainty.
Your forgiveness we seek, your love we need, your protection we implore. Forgive our sins and heal our wounds. Strengthen any weakness of faith and make us strong so as to give witness to your glory. Keep far from us any illness, pestilence, or harm. You are our refuge, you are our comfort, you are our hope.
Through the intercession of Our Lady, Health of Christians, we come to your Most Sacred Heart and beseech your protection and blessing.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!
